Each Laundry Maid pulley airer kit includes:

Rugged cast iron ends

Two rack ends. The ends of the clothes airer are made in the heart of Britain’s Black Country from solid cast iron.  These are then powder coated in a choice of black or white or they can be supplied with an antique lacquer finish. Each end is designed to hold four wooden rails.

Single and double pulleys and wall cleat

One single pulley, one double pulley, one cleat: The pulleys and wall cleat are made from cast iron and are available in either black, white or our new colour antique lacquer.

Hand-finished timber rails

4 timber rails. Each rail is made in our own workshop from solid pine, which is sourced from sustainable, managed forests. The rails are rounded on the top and bottom and are then sealed so that they can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Finally each rail of your Victorian clothes airer is hand-sanded to ensure a super-smooth finish and to prevent any possible snagging of your laundry.

Plaited cotton pulley cord

Manufactured in Lancashire, England, this extremely strong, closely plaited cord will last for years.
